But here’s the kicker – the historical record reveals that “the primary motivation for the development of the UDDA was explicitly only one of these purposes: the promotion of organ donation.”
They literally invented a new definition of death to harvest more organs.
What “Brain Death” Really Looks Like
Here’s what happens when doctors declare someone “brain dead”:
- Heart is still beating
- Blood pressure is maintained
- Body temperature is regulated
- Organs are functioning normally
- Patient looks “alive” to family members
Why? Because as medical literature explains, “adequate oxygenation and blood pressure must be maintained” and “the ventilation of the patient does not stop until midway through recovery surgery.”

- Patient is dying but not “brain dead”
- Life support is withdrawn

- Doctors wait 2-5 minutes
- Patient is declared “dead”
- Organs are immediately harvested
But here’s the problem: medical research shows that “the UDDA requires ‘irreversible’ cessation of circulatory and respiratory functions, yet, under the circumstances of DCD, clearly the heart has not irreversibly arrested, as cardiopulmonary resuscitation ordinarily can restore cardiac function after an arrest of 10–15 minutes or longer.”
So they changed “irreversible” to “permanent” – meaning if they don’t try to restart your heart, it’s “permanently” stopped. Pure semantic manipulation.
The Public Knows Something’s Wrong
Despite massive propaganda, the public’s instincts are spot-on. Research published in Social Science & Medicine found that “two out of three people think that someone who is brain dead is not legally dead, and more than half think that a patient in coma is brain dead.”
The medical establishment claims “both beliefs are wrong” – but are they? When someone has a beating heart, warm skin, and functioning organs, most people rightfully think they’re still alive.
Why Fresh Organs Matter
The dirty secret the organ industry doesn’t want you to know: organs must be fresh to work. Medical research confirms that “for graft survival after donation, all available organs in the donor need to be maintained at their normal physiological condition until the time of organ retrieval.”
This is why they:
