Remillia: A collection of people having fun and being silly on the internet.

The continuation of Netizenship

Heaps of profits! —  this is what everyone wants apparently, right?
or do some people yearn for something deeper, even if it is tangential to the prior.

So what is Remillia?
This isn’t an easy question to answer as it has become a culture, you don’t need to buy in, like other crypto groups, as a popular phrase among Miladys is ‘just copy paste it’, a good example of its counter-culture to ‘ownership’ culture. The term for it is ‘post authorship’, wich is very similar to anonymity or at least anonymity AFTER people have had a bout of censorship, but to really understand Remillia you need to understand a few ideas and events that happened prior, so let me go through abit of groundwork.

4chan

Netizens, peoples of the internet, Miladys, Chaners, Old fags and the list goes on, there are many names that describe or have been associated with them, these are the people of the internet, many troubled by the real world and find refuge in the peace-full hum of a computer fan.
These people share a common interest, their culture, but let’s ask ‘where this culture started?’ 😀

In the beginning there were sites like www.funnyjunk.com , www.albinoblacksheep.com , www.newgrounds.com  (that provided funny pictures and short videos) and then a site called www.4chan.org came along, this was the beginning of a refined congruent internet culture empowered by anonymity, unlike its predecessors,  4chan did not have you make an account with a balls username that can be used against you, you were free with nothing but a number to roll dubs on and post. This allowed for a never before seen version of “freedom of expression” to happen and create dogma that is so interconnected to internet beings that it has shaped us and kept us searching for it again and again.

The greatest loss

4chan slowly became completely overrun by feds, they introduced captures and other annoying things that made the ‘anonymous’ part of the board less authentic, a lot of us were lost, banned from twitter and a lot of the other wider social media platforms unless we kept our beliefs/ideas hidden, living life like a mannequin and just putting on what people want to see in a shop front.

There were many attempts at another 4chan, 9gag and 8chan to name a couple, but nothing fully captured the culture generated in OG 4chan.

A lost people, roaming the internet with our home taken over, like a monarchy that’s been dethroned by the federal government, ofcourse a lot of us were pissed and are in crypto! That is a natural reaction to the treatment of our culture and sacred spaces, these actions that were taken to undermine our sanctity meant we couldn’t trust the conventional methods of finance.

what if we said a naughty word and the government just took everything? Crypto seemed like a good idea.

Trading on Culture

Some of the earliest ‘memes’ ever created are ‘Socially awkward penguin’ and  ‘Foul bachelor frog’, it became a game to communicate more with less, thus the modern meme was born.

I still remember starting to see people refer to ‘memes’ in real life and laughing to myself that ‘they don’t know where that word comes from’.

This just crystalized the idea that politics is downstream from culture and so is SENTIMENT.
when you look at a chart you are looking at emotions wether it is fear or greed or fomo, these spikes and dips are all related to the sentiment of the traders.

So if culture is upstream from sentiment that means that culture is the primary thing moving markets? YES

Culture is THE market mover, if you want to bring money into a space you need to change the culture of the space, money doesn’t create culture, people do. Some can buy culture for a brief period but it will never last, and these types will ALWAYS try to buy their culture.

Because culture is the primary market maker this meant that buying milady when it was canceled was a bet on authentic internet culture to win and the cringe lords that took over the scene with daddys bank account who, thankfull, were left ostracized while screaming “racism!”.

The bull market 2020/2021

2021 was an interesting time, a huge bull had happened after a 3 year long bear market that led to a discovering of the cool tech Netizens had been creating.

The normie hoards had arrived and crypto was BOOMING, but the soul was crushed and almost lost. We saw ravenous cancel culture and other putrid real world nonsense creep into crypto, I believe this is correlated to how many normies came in.

We saw BAYC’s getting bought by Eminem and everybody waiting for the next celebrity to come in, crypto had become a cesspool for normies to coom over the most virtuous collection, developers dodging racism accusations left right and center, everyone autistically trying to prove they themselves are not any form of ‘ism’

THANKFULLY we hit the bear market.

The bear market 2022

It was during the bear market that Milady and the wider Remillia ecosystem were able to fully intrench themselves in the scene and drive out the woke brigade that came along with the normies of the bull market.

This allowed for the tech and the soul of decentralization to expand and conquer broader horizens, post authorship had taken over and the refusal of the woke to relinquish their egos meant they missed out on the BIGGEST play in NFT’s of the bear market, maybe even all time. We will see how it goes.

Now

We are currently on the cusp of the next bull market, Remillia is positioned at the forefront of the scene across multiple blockchains, its culture and way of thinking has spread to ever corner of crypto, helped by its adherence to values internet culture has always held, like anonymity, and embracing the detached and ostracized netizens that were left unwanted by a woke culture that was thrust upon them.

The winning will continue.
